Baby and Pre-School

Our Baby and Pre-School lessons are the perfect way to introduce your little one to a pool environment in a friendly and nurturing environment with a parent or guardian.

We understand how quickly babies and toddlers develop, which is why our age-based classes are tailored to their stage of learning. Whether you as a parent are confident in the water or more of a nervous swimmer, with the pool being 1.0m in depth throughout our experienced teachers can help you work with your little one so that you both feel comfortable and confident.

Our main aim in these lessons is to create water confidence and safety through games, songs and free exploring all whilst helping you share a bonding experience in the water.

Our Baby & Pre-School pathway is based around your little one's age, however we know that all of our little swimmers develop at their own pace so if they are ready to move on sooner or need a little extra time, then that is perfectly fine.

Baby Splashers (3-18 months) – New environments can be a little overwhelming, so our Baby Splashers classes are very relaxed without too much stimulation. You will learn some of the safe water holds whilst exploring the calming water together and building your babies confidence moving through the water.

Tots Splashers (18-36 months) – By now your little one will be becoming much more active in and out of the pool. We will introduce more movement in the water through games and songs along with rotation skills.

Big Splashers (3-4 years) – If your swimmer needs a little more time in classes with a familiar family member in the pool supporting them, hasn’t had lessons before or you just want to continue enjoying swimming classes together before they start school then these classes are perfect for you. Lessons will be more structured and will loosely mimic our Starfish classes but with one to one support from you, under the instruction of one of our teachers. Swimmers will continue to build on their independence whilst swimming on their front and back through engaging themed lessons that always spark lots of joy.
