About Us
Fenland Swim Academy has been providing swimming lessons since 2013, providing high quality lessons in small productive classes in a fun, positive environment.

We are passionate about giving as many swimmers as possible, a strong foundation in swimming, whether it's for developing safety in the water or for moving on to competitive swimming.
​
We pride ourselves in the individual feedback our teachers provide, which makes the swimmer feel more engaged and enables faster progression through our tailored Swim Scheme.
We are a family run swim school which was established in 2013 by Kayleigh and Andrew after recognising a need for more swimming lessons spaces in the area. Originally set up in the Empress pool in Chatteris, and then running lessons in Wisbech & Emneth, as a swim school, we have taught over 1000 swimmers a lifelong skill in both group and private lesson environments.

After the closure of the Empress pool and struggling to find further pool time elsewhere, we decided to take the plunge and build our very own purpose built swimming pool to ensure that we could continue to grow and provide high quality swimming lessons in the Fens.

Our family run swim school starts with us, Kayleigh and Andrew! We have 2 of our own little gremlins, who both love the water (thank God!). Arlo (4) has ambitions of running our swim shop, so expect to see him at the front desk when you need a new pair of goggles or swim hat whereas Milo (1) has a passion for food so is likely to be spotted in the viewing area along with a warm cup of milk and biscuit(s!).​

We both have over 2 decades of experience on poolside working with swimmers both in a learn to swim environment and also in the competitive world of swimming working with City of Peteroborough, Wisbech, Chatteris and March Swim Teams. Kayleigh spent a large part of her junior years as a competitive swimmer reaching National level competition whilst Andrew's swimming background assisted with his Triathlon successes in International AG competition before settling into the less time consuming world of running after the family came along.
